Postcards Project

In our world of smart phones, online photo sharing, and “social media” sites, I think now more than ever there is considerable value in sending and receiving physical postcards, value for both the sender and the recipient. From that assumption comes this on-going project. Each month I will create an original postcard that captures some recent experience. Since these are postcards, each one will include a short hand-written note on the back. I will send copies of that postcard to different people, some I know, some I don’t. When I run out of that month’s postcard, they are gone (some previous postcards might still be available).

If you want to receive a postcard, fill out the form below. And in case it’s not obvious, be sure to include your mailing address in the message box.

May’s Postcard

How many people looked out over the fields and the river, perhaps taking a break from their work? This barn is all that remains of their conversations, their thoughts, their efforts.
